URS makes the acquisition or closing upon the sale of a community seamless by facilitating a smooth transition of all utility and vendor accounts to the new owner, so nothing gets overlooked in the process.
- Identify all utility and vendor accounts for the community.
- Assist with information gathering for new owner due diligence.
- Contact vendors about the sale of the community.
- Provide the new owner with list of all vendors, contact information and new billing information (when possible).
- Close/transfer accounts as necessary and secure applicable deposits.
- Termination of CSA/LSA/Revert to Owner agreements and advise new owner of the need for new CSA/LSA agreements.
- Perform any other utility related service to ensure a smooth transition upon acquisition or disposition.
